Meltdown / Spectre Security Flaw

As you might have heard on the news, there are two extremely critical security flaws out called meltdown and spectre.

 

Short Overview

They allow an attacker to access data within your memory. An attack could be done via the internet – through your browser or a malicious software.

Actions to take

To protect yourselves, install latest updates depending on your operating system.

 

You also might want to enable „Strict Site Isolation“ in Chrome:

  1. Browse to chrome://flags/#enable-site-per-process within chrome.
  2. Click activate on strict site isolation.
  3. Restart Chrome
